My boat is a 24’ Carolina Skiff that I custom designed and rigged myself.  It is powered by a Suzuki 115hp four stroke with low water pick-ups, with a stainless steel 4 bladed prop mounted on a port-a-bracket hydraulic jack plate, with a 17” set back.  I built a deck on the back of the boat and mounted a custom console on top of the deck, to be able to see the shallow rocks and fish from a greater distance. I also installed a 27 gallon live well so I can keep plenty of live bait, and also to keep the catch alive when tournament fishing.  I added a 24 volt, 74 pound thrust Minn Kota Riptide trolling motor for quiet stalking in the skinny waters.  A Garmin GPS plotter and fish finder were also a must.  There's plenty of dry storage under the front deck as well.  I also have 2 coolers on the boat: 1 large cooler for the fish and 1 cooler for drinks and food. This boat has a flat bottom to float in the shallowest of water.  The low water pick-ups, the jack plate, and the prop are designed to run in the shallow waters that are in the back-country of the areas that I call home.  The openness of the boat gives plenty of room for up to 4 anglers, to cast and fight fish.   

All of my rods are tournament grade.  All of my reels are Shimano reels, spooled with PowerPro line.  I keep them in the best condition that I possibly can, and I use RedBone rods Finally, from my house to the water, my boat rides securely on a Magic Tilt boat trailer.
